FUSION INSTRUMENT

Fusion Maestro is a new propane gas fusion instrument that applies the best of the eight fluxers previously designed by Dr Fernand Claisse since 1971.

This three-propane burner instrument does the job of two standard instruments in the same time. A set of three fusions can be started while a previous set of three fusion beads has reached the cooling stage. Approximately 24 fusion beads can thus be prepared in only one hour.

Fusion Maestro offers new interesting features that allow the instrument to stand out from competition on the actual market.

This new high-tech fusion instrument includes many interesting features :

Loading the crucibles is easy considering the crucibles are held from underneath. This particular design allows viewing inside the crucible during fusion;

Walls have been added between burners to isolate each crucible from others. Heat transfer between crucibles is avoided, allowing more equal temperatures;

Air injection into crucibles during the fusion creates an oxidizing atmosphere, when needed;

The required input gas pressure of propane has been limited to 1 psi to respect maximal security of operation;

After the cooling steps, the beads are automatically ejected from the moulds, avoiding the need of a sucking cup

Fernand CLAISSE inc. promotes the use of his new tapered moulds (60°), that makes the ejection of beads easier at the end of the fusion process;

The instrument uses a Program Logic Control with a Human Machine Interface. These are very simple to program and to use, and replace a computer and printed circuits;

The touch-screen interface is available in most languages, on request.
